There is no doubt that Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows is one of the strangest musical acts today. Its style was described as Darkwav in an unique form, not to mention the fact that it has a lot of influnces. Sopor Aeternus was formed by Anna-Varney Cantodea around the year 1989, although nobody knows the real age of Anna.

Although Sopor Aeternus got very good media attention along the years, not much is known about the personal life of the musician. Cantodea does not share much about the personal life and it does seem that it was full of depression and grief. We can describe her as being a transcender or transsexual. One thing is for sure. Anna wants to be refered to as a she and does not want to get rid of the "he" aspect due to spiritual reasons. This basically means that she does not really want to go through surgery.

A lot of mistery sits around Sopor Aeternus. For instance, nobody really knows the age of Anna although fans do think that she was born around the fifities. What is know is that Anna spent around 30 years in depression, despair and extreme loneliness. It seems that these emotions ended up being caused by many reasons from beatings to childhood trauma. She was even suicidal at the age of 12, which is too much for anyone to handle. Anna was even close to becoming blind due to something that was cancer like or actually cancer.

It seems that these events ended up with Anna discovering the "Ensmble of Shadows", which can be described as the voices or presences that inspired her music. The musician does not talk a lot about the ensemble, except the fact that music inspiration appears in dreams. Sopor is one word that if linked to Latin relates to sleep. One other interesting fact about Anna-Varney is that she does not sing live.

The music of Sopor Aeternus has a lot of baroque and renaissance influences. Critics think that the instrumentation is very melancholic and a lot of brass instruments are used. Michael Jackson is facing new and fresh legal action after a Sheikh has claimed that he paid the singer for some un-delivered work months ago.

A trial in the High Court of California is set to get underway on November 17th however an out of court settlement is highly likely. Im sure that Mr.Jackson does not want another appearance in court any time soon considering his history.

Micheal Jackson spent over six months in Bahrain after he was acquitted of child abuse in 2005, when he became friends with Sheikh Abdullah. Whilst Micheal Jackson was staying with the Prince of Behrain he payed him in excess of £4.5M for this work.

Is Gad Elbaz As Great A Singer As He Makes Out?

If you have not yet heard about Gad Elbaz, then let me tell you a bit about his background. Born in Israel, he has taken the world by a storm. Not only does he have a wonderful voice, but he is also a master song-writer.

Born into a family of musicians, it was discovered at an early age that Gad in fact had  a wonderful voice. His father described him as having a voice like an angel. Although all fathers probably think something similar, in this case he was right.

As a child, having a voice like an angel, Gaz Elbaz was a regular performer on the circuit and even recorded a song with his father who was already an accomplished musical star.

One of the most wonderful things about Gad is his ability to take control of a situation while performing and belt out the most wonderful lyrics in the most wonderful voice. Get your camping gear ready for this July. Don’t forget to pack your inflatable beds or inflatable mattress along with your tent. Bring plenty of water, not just the beer. Bring your best summer beachwear. Hot girls and hot guys from different sides of the Mason Dixon line will be hooking up. Country music's version of Woodstock is just around the corner.

Country music fans across the heartland gather every year to party their rears off at the annual Jamboree in the Hills concert outside of Wheeling West Virginia in the town of Morristown, Ohio. The concert attracts top country music talent year after year. This concert typically has one of the best lineups for country music talent as any concert in the US. The 2008 concert had performers such as Gary Allan, Keith Anderson, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Loretta Lyn, Jason Aldean, Neal McCoy, Reba McEntire, Jewel, Chuck Wicks, Brooks and Dunn, Rodney Atkins, Trace Atkins, Joe Zelek, Julianne Hough, Christian Simmons, The Hitmen, Paul Thorn, Mayf Nutter, Crossin Dixon, Tristen T-Bone Smith, the Chris Highbee Project and The Fabulous Bender Boys.

The concert is normally the third week in July. The weather is always hot. They allow you to take beer into the concert with you. It seems that they let you take as much as you can carry. Many people will make special beer coolers specifically for this 4 day concert. I remember seeing groups of people with caskets that they customized to keep their cold beer just for this show. It's way better than paying big bucks for the beer most concerts charge.

Four days of camping in that field is a total blast. Make sure you bring some ultra light clothing or you'll sweat to death. Rememeber batteries along with your camera. Get some partiers to get a little naked for you in front of the camera. You will certainly see guys carrying signs that say "Show me your..........." ?/@&$.. “ If you like to drink lots of beer and party in the hot summer sun, this is the place for you. Make sure you bring sun screen and plenty of ice. Bring a tarp or screened in tent to setup for shade and don’t forget that inflatable air mattress or inflatable bed.

Don't bring a ton of food. Plan on running into town to get some burgers or other easy to cook food. It is so friggin hot here in July that it is nearly impossible to keep your food frozen. You don't want to go barefoot here. Don't forget sneakers. Don't forget your hangover medicine. You'll need it. Otherwise you’ll just have to stay drunk. Those rednecks sure do know how to party.
